i've been taking Beans for walks and feeding her as necessary since i moved here last August, but for some reason, we have really bonded in the past month or so. maybe she's just super-needy, but she has been super-affectionate and wonderful to me.
yesterday, when i got home from work, i wrestled her on the grass for a good long time-- and we both loved it. she's so burly and strong, i can put my total weight into picking her up and flipping her over and pinning her on the ground-- and she just eats it up. full contact. super fun.
right now she is sitting outside my bedroom door, snuffling around, trying to get a good whiff of me. she's hairy, drooley and slightly smelly. but she's very smart and affectionate.

She's so adorable! She looks like a Mastiff mix or something. Is she yours?
she belongs to my room mates, but we spend a lot of time together.
she's some kind of special American bulldog... they're bred to look like rottweiler mixes. she's a neighborhood celebrity, that's for sure.
